REDDIT UP THE VOTE

Reddit gets about 156 million votes a day, more votes than were counted in the 2018 general election. To highlight the importance of voting this year, we focused on how one Reddit post’s worth of votes in local districts could have swung House seats and Presidential elections. The campaign consisted of 18 billboards in four markets, digital, and on-platform creative, which drove to r/upthevote on Reddit, where visitors could find information on how to get registered and vote early.

One of our hopes with running billboards was that folks would photograph and share them on Reddit and other social platforms, helping us spread the word further. An OOH placement featuring a post about bread stapled to a tree got so many upvotes when someone shared it on Reddit that we created a whole new OOH placement about it (in absurdist Reddit fashion).
